For ten years, I was a DJ. I built a brand, grew a following, and learned how to read a room. But the thing that made it work was never the tracks I played. It was the relationships I built. The trust. The ability to understand what people wanted before they even knew it themselves.
That part of me never left.
It just found a new stage.
From the Dance Floor to Digital
After hanging up the headphones, I went back to studying and completed a BCom degree specialising in marketing. I wanted to understand the strategy behind the brands I had been building instinctively for years.
Straight out of university, I stepped into the world of digital marketing. Paid media, specifically. Google Ads, Meta Ads, and all the platforms in between. I fell in love with the data, the testing, the constant learning.
Over the past three years, I have worked across industries and budgets, managing campaigns that drive real results. Thousands of hours inside ad platforms, analytics dashboards, and reporting tools.
But somewhere along the way, I started to see what kind of work I wanted to build for myself.
What I Wanted to Build
I have always been someone who wants to understand the full picture. Not just the ads, but the brand behind them. Not just the keywords, but the business goals they tie back to. Not just one channel, but how all the channels work together.
That is the kind of work I find most rewarding. When everything connects. When the SEO strategy informs the paid media. When the website supports the campaigns. When every piece is built with the same understanding of what the client actually needs.
I kept coming back to this idea. Not as frustration with anything around me. More like a pull toward something I wanted to create.

KLM Digital started because I wanted to build something where we could be across the full picture.
